To exercise public power and cultivate the law-abiding concept among the people, Administrative Enforcement Agency, Ministry of Justice was established twelve branches on January 1, 2001, so that the administrative branch of the government can work in accordance with the law.     The Pingtung Branch, Administrative Enforcement Agency, Ministry of Justice , is located at No.28, 180 Lane, Jian-Feng Rd. It is located in downtown Pingtung, beautiful environment and renovated soft-ware, preparing to provide to tax-payers service and essential information.     The branch takes over not only the unfinished cases concerning finance or fines from the original local court (Taiwan Pingtung Local Court), but also those transferred cases under relevant administrative regulations from other organizations. Due to the great quantity of cases, it is vital to proceed according to concepts of entrepreneurship. This refers to applying a performance management system. This pursues low costs, high efficiency and high profits for sustainable development. Right at this moment, the government encounters a financial crisis. Therefore, it is important to know how to apply the concepts of entrepreneurial management: put in the minimum personnel and material costs to get the maximum output and benefit. Meanwhile the functions of administrative enforcement organizations should be strengthened. In one aspect, it is assured to solidify national civil rights about financial obligations, to enhance administrative performance and to increase the government’s revenue. From another aspect, abiding by the rule of law and fair and reasonable principles and guarding people’s rights are the most important directions for Pintung Branch, Administrative Enforcement Agency, Ministry of Justice.
